I Dig It
I’m very comfortable in loud, dark rooms.
Cut my teeth booking and promoting local concerts while in High School. Next stop: Tufts University (Boston), where I resurrected a student-funded club (Applejam) and began managing operations for larger stages with international artists (Arcade Fire in a room of 250? Yeah…) I took to the local radio station (WMFO) where I served as both Program and Music Director. Around this time I founded an independent record label, Endless Recordings, and signed a handful of bands, set up national tours, all that…
After university, I was “all in” on live music. I remember fondly the epic run of work with the Middle East (Venue operations - Cambridge, MA), Webster Hall (Event Branding - NYC) & Slake (Venue Launch). More recently I was tapped to help develop a top-secret new venue for a not-to-be-named global event company.
Along the way, I’ve consistently released year-end music mixes. Have a listen?
SONIC IMPACT
Webster Hall - Girls & Boys [BRAND]
Tap the zeitgeist and roll out a refresh for NYC's longest-running tastemaker party. As fun as it sounds.
Webster Hall - GOTHAM [brand]
Round two with Webster Hall. This time for the venue's biggest party of the week. Saturday nights got a whole lot darker.
Slake nightclub [brand]
Defining a new nightclub/venue located in the heart of NYC and working from a blank slate? Yes!
Live @ Best Buy [PROGRAM LAUNCH]
Leverage in-store floorspace to showcase up-and-coming artists in major metro markets. Oh yeah, and build one of the world’s first fully-responsive websites in the process…
ENDLESS RECORDINGS [brand]
My own vanity indie record label from the salad days. 7 Releases. 4 Bands & 1 Compilation. Lots of gigs.
91.5FM WMFO RADIO [OPERATIONS]
Seems a bit unfair that I was both the Music and Program Director. A little too much influence over the airwaves?
